A new Chief of Staff of the Iraqi land Forces

Shafaq News / Today, Friday, a security source revealed the appointment of the former commander of Diyala operations, Major General Ghassan Khaled Al-Ezzi, as Chief of Staff of the land Forces.

The source informed Shafaq News Agency, that the appointment order was issued by the General Command of the Armed Forces, and that he will carry out his duties after the issuance of the order was by the Ministry of Defense.

It is noteworthy that Major General Al-Ezzi assumed command of Diyala operations more than two years, before he was dismissed from his post several days ago and Major General Raad Mahmoud al-Jubouri took his place.
