+30 ISIS targets destroyed in the 4th day of "Iraq heroes"

Shafaq News / A security source in Diyala said today, Thursday, that 20 ISIS dens and 11 tunnels were destroyed in the outskirts of Azim border region with Saladin, as a part of the third phase of "Iraq heroes" operation, launched four days ago.

The source told Shafaq News agency, "The army, police and Al-Hashd Al-Shaabi managed to destroy 20 ISIS dens containing, equipment, weapons and explosive materials, between Diyala and Saladin".

The source added that, "The joint security forces destroyed 11 tunnels of ISIS", indicating that those tunnels were used as arms cache and escape routes.
