UN ensures the completion of refugee camps’ infrastructure in Kurdistan

“We requested UNHCR through its Deputy General Representative , Abdul Karim Gul for the United Nations to adopt the issue of completing infrastructure projects of the refugee camps," adding that "the United Nations pledged to complete the infrastructure of the camps,” The official of migration file in the Commission, Haymen Rashid told “Shafaq News”.

“The financial allocations for the federal government were not transferred to service projects for Syrian refugees because of the adopted routine,” he added.

Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) has earlier demanded the federal government to intervene to assist them in providing emergency aid for Syrian refugees.
