Two million barrels of Basra Light crude sold at a lower premium

Shafaq News / Two commercial sources said on Wednesday that the Iraqi Oil Marketing Company (SOMO) sold two million barrels of Basra Light crude, loading January at a premium of about 90 cents a barrel above the official selling price through an immediate tender.
The two sources said that the buyer was likely to be China Unipec. They added that the shipment was offered for download from January 29 to January 31.
Before this, December light Basra crude was traded at a premium of $ 1 to $ 1.50 over the official selling price on the spot market.
