Ministry of Trade forms committees to monitor prices and prepare to enter into the markets to prevent speculations

which aims to find the defects and blackmail Iraqi citizen during Ramadan month.

Abdel Karim said in a statement received by Shafaq News, that the ministry has formed supervisory committees to follow the price level to prevent commercial speculation and foil attempts to raise food prices by taking advantage of the needs of citizens during the holy month.

The ministry added that it has equipped all regions of the country with food items in the ration card and reinforced the distribution of flour for July in order to control the level of prices and prevent greedy traders from exercising pressure on the Iraqi market, which has made this year fixed prices without any raise as happened in the past years.

Abdul Karim said that the ministry operations room is following the price level and develop immediate solutions based on the conclusions monitored in the local market.
