because of the economic crisis, while confirmed the completion of working with the flexibility oil pipeline that connects Halfaya field with al-Tuba tanks in Basra province.

“Foreign investment oil companies in Maysan fields agreed to delay payment of part of its financial dues this year and complete them next year (unspecified) date", adding that "the non-payment of the companies is related to the financial crisis,” The company’s spokesman , Khaled Wahem told Shafaq News.

Wahem added " technical work with the flexibility pipeline has completed and is ready to start pumping oil through it from Halfaya field to Faw and then to al-Tuba tanks," pointing out that "the pipeline will transfer daily to 70 thousand barrels of oil and will ensure helping in the export problems."

Halfaya oil field in Maysan province is the biggest productive field in the province and has oil reserves rate extracted from the oil fields of the province to (16) billion barrels per day, as well as large amounts of gas as the Chinese Petro China company is working to develop the field.
