Kurdistan offers 7 million dollars to support Tuz Khurmato
“KRG granted seven billion dinars for sport projects, including the establishment of five large playground and rehabilitation of youth building in the center of the city,” Deputy governor of Tuz Khurmato , Shalal Abdul Ahmed told “Shafaq News “.
Ahmed added that the district demanded from the Ministry of Youth and Sports to implement a number of projects , including a project to prepare the youth center , but did not get but promises .
KRG has allocated funds from this grant for water and electricity projects in the district, he added.
Tuz Khurmato is of the disputed areas between Baghdad and Erbil , it used to be affiliated to Kirkuk province (80 km south ) before being affiliated by the former regime by a presidential decree in the seventies of the last century to Salahuddin province ( 120 km to the east).
