An authorized source said in a statement received by Shafaq News, that the signing ceremony was attended by the Head of the Legal Advisor Team Leader of ICSID, Malanka Kostadinova , the Iraqi ambassador in Washington , Luqman al-Fayli , a number of embassy staff and officials from the World Bank and others guests.

The source added that according to Article 68 (2) of the ICSID Convention , this agreement will take effect for the benefit of Iraq from 12.17.2015.
