as pointed out that the current production quantities rate stands at 4.3 million barrels per day.

Abdul-Mahdi, told "Shana" news agency affiliated to the Ministry of Oil of Iran on the sidelines of the Forum of Gas Exporting Countries held in Tehran, that Iraq's oil production now stands at the rate of 4.3 million barrels per day, pointing out that Iraq will continue forward with doubling production rates in the coming years.

In the same context, Iraq's oil minister, stressed the need for Baghdad and Tehran to develop relations and enhance cooperation between the two countries.

Abdul-Mahdi and Ministers and officials of oil and gas of more than 18 countries have attended Tehran to participate in the ministerial meeting and the summit meeting of the Forum of Gas Exporting Countries, which was held in Tehran.
