Iraq’s oil exports and revenues rise in November

“The total Iraqi oil exports is amounted to 71.4 million barrels in the last month, an average of 2.38 million barrels per day , up from 2.253 million bpd in October,” The ministry’s’ spokesman , Assem Jihad told “Shafaq News”.

Jihad added that oil imports for November reached at 7.324 billion dollars.

He pointed out that “ Iraq has recorded high exports and revenues , despite the bad weather, maintenance work in the southern ports , cleaning water from some sank materials that were hampering export operations , as well as stop pumping through Kirkuk - Ceyhan line for being subjected to acts of sabotage“.

The spokesman for the Ministry of Oil explained that 62.2 million barrels were exported from the ports of Basra in southern Iraq; revenues amounted to 6.376 billion dollars.

He added that the exported quantities from Kirkuk oilfields to the Turkish port of Ceyhan on the Mediterranean amounted to 9.2 million barrels revenue of $ 948 million.

He noted that the average selling price was (102.577) dollars per barrel.

Jihad added that the mentioned quantities were uploaded by the international oil companies that carry different nationalities of ( 32) oil company from the ports of Basra , Khor al-Amaya and buoys on the Arabian Gulf , the Turkish port of Ceyhan on the Mediterranean Sea and by truck to Jordan .
