Abdul-Mahdi said in his statement in the social networking site (Facebook) that "the Iraqi oil sector is achieving more successes despite all the financial difficulties and the deterioration in oil prices, security, social and economic conditions that affect everyone, as the Oil Ministry with the assistance of the Ministry of Finance and Central Bank and the support of Prime Minister paid nine billion dollars as 2014 dues for the rest of oil companies. "

He added that " the dues of the first quarter of 2015 have been paid and work to repay the second quarter in these days and the third quarter will be repaid by the end of the year, and will pay the fourth quarter as usual, after the submission of costs at the beginning of 2016."

He explained that " Iraq will discuss with foreign oil companies , means of reducing costs and linking oil price fluctuations for the benefit of the parties at higher prices or bear their burdens when they fall together."
