The sources spoke about an initial program load that shows that the Iraqi Oil Marketing Company (SOMO) has allocated 3.3 million barrels per day of Basra crude for export in February, up from 2.7 million bpd in the previous month.

According to the government, the second largest oil exporter in OPEC exports reached 2.94 million barrels per day in December, the highest level since 1980. This included a high record of exports to southern ports amounted to 2.76 million barrels per day.
