Iranian gas pipeline project to Iraq to end at late April

, the volume of gas export to Iraq will increase during the next two years.

Extending the first pipeline operations towards Baghdad will end and will begin exporting gas from late next April, according to the official Iranian agency IRNA.

It is scheduled to Iran to export about four million cubic meters of gas per day to Baghdad to increase the volume to about 25 million cubic meters per day.

The director of international affairs at the National Iranian Gas Company ,Azizullah Ramadani said that " about seven kilometers of gas pipeline has completed to transfer gas to Baghdad in Iraqi territory and will be completed done soon."

While the second project for the export of Iranian gas to Iraq would be through a pipeline in Basra, south of Iraq, as this pipeline will receive about 35 million cubic meters of gas per day.
