Dhi -Qar declares its readiness to manage ration card file next July

The Cabinet decided earlier that to transfer the administration file of the ration card to all the provinces next July at the latest .
“Dhi -Qar provincial council discussed yesterday in its official session , the administration file of the ration card instead of the Ministry of Commerce ," noting that " There was no management problem to receive the file and start the contracting procedures with the companies , the member of Dhi -Qar provincial Council and its spokesman , Hassan al-Waeli told “Shafaq News “.
A wide range of Iraqis depend on the food supplies of ration card since the start of the international sanctions on Iraq in 1991.
The ration card distribution include five food items of the Iraqi families a month; flour , rice , oil, sugar and children milk at a nominal price .
This system was applied mainly since 1996, it included the distribution of more than 10 items , including beans , tomato paste , washing powder , which was gradually cancelled from the card.
