Chinese “ CNPC” is preparing to build Dhi -Qar large refinery by capacity of 400 000 bpd

with the Iraqi government to set up a big refinery as the contract extends for 20 years at a cost of three billion dollars, with the privileges for the Iraqi side, including training and dispatch   Iraqi engineers abroad .

Al-Rekabi told “Shafaq News", that: China National Petroleum Corporation is preparing to establish the largest oil refinery in Dhi -Qar, with a capacity of up to 400 000 barrels per day (bpd).

Local officials and specialists in the oil industry in Dhi- Qar expect to check the oil fields to maintain the productivity of up to 400 thousand barrels per day of crude oil by the next two years, thus becoming one of the provinces with great economic power.

These officials say that if other oil fields were invested in Dhi Qar province , it is possible that it would progress the main of OPEC member , the Ecuador with its produced crude oil.
