CBI responds to the rumors: We will continue to meet demands of banks and companies

The bank announced in a statement seen by Shafaq News, that "it will continuously meet all the banks and companies’ demands of the dollar according to the instructions without any change.

The bank said that "it will continue to accept cash deposits of various groups," denying "any rumors otherwise that aim to influence the exchange rate and its stability."

The bank has taken a series of decisions in recent weeks to stabilize the local currency after the dinar dropped against the dollar to 1,400 dinars to the dollar.
