Baghdad announces the results of its oil negotiations with Erbil

Shahristani said in statements on the sidelines of the specialized seminar " on wealth of oil and gas “ Challenges and the Future" , that "The federal government has held several negotiations with the region and did not reach a conclusion , noting that Baghdad welcomed the announcement of Kurdistan region to deliver it with produced oil there starting from April , However, that agreement has not been concluded until now , and the regional government still urges the center on the need to adhere to deliver produced oil for oil Marketing Company (SOMO ) in order to export it . "

Shahristani said that "the produced oil in the region must be linked to a pipeline near the Iraqi-Turkish border in ( Feesh Habor area) Accordingly, if the delivery operations have been done , targeting the pipeline operations won’t be affected, especially as the targeting operations are repeated continuously on the oil export pipeline towards Turkey in Baiji area " .
