Study: Plastic face masks don’t protect from Corona virus
Shafaq News / A recent Japanese study warned that plastic face masks (Face Shield) allow nearly 100% of the small airborne droplets released by people with Coronavirus to enter through them and cause infection.
Since the outbreak of Covid-19, medical equipment companies and industry experts have been promoting that plastic masks provide adequate protection from the virus, while the British government has recommended the use of these masks in hairdressing salons, and by nail and tattoo technicians, as a barrier between them and clients to prevent the spread of the infection, according to “Daily Mail”.
