Iraq raises Basra crude prices to the Asian markets
Shafaq News/ A document released by Reuters revealed that Iraq raised Basra Light crude price in May shipments to Asia by 1.40 dollars a barrel compared to Oman and Dubai crude and 0.10 dollars compared to the previous month.
According to Reuters' document, Basra medium crude's official selling price in May shipments is set at $ 0.60 over Oman/Dubai crude, up by $0.50 from the previous month.
Basra Heavy crude's official selling price in May shipments was set at a discount of $ 0.90 for Oman/Dubai crude, $0.50 above the previous month.
Saudi Arabia raised the price of its Arab Light crude oil to the Asian market by 0.4 dollars a barrel in May compared with April and reduced the price for the American and European markets by 0.1 and 0.2 dollars a barrel, respectively, according to a statement from Saudi Aramco Oil Company.
In the last meeting, OPEC + discussed whether to maintain or ease oil production cuts and said that energy prices should be kept within reach.
