Gold tops 1.03M dinars in Baghdad as prices climb

Gold prices rose in Iraq on Wednesday, with 21-carat imported gold reaching 1.03 million dinars per mithqal in Baghdad markets.
According to a Shafaq News survey, wholesale markets on al-Nahr Street recorded buying prices at 1.026 million dinars, up from 997,000 dinars a day earlier. Iraqi 21-carat gold traded slightly lower, selling at 1 million dinars and buying at 996,000 dinars.
In retail markets, imported 21-carat gold sold between 1.03 million and 1.04 million dinars, while Iraqi gold ranged between 1 million and 1.01 million dinars.
In Erbil, prices also increased, with 22-carat gold selling at 1.096 million dinars, 21-carat at 1.046 million dinars, and 18-carat at 896,000 dinars.
