CBI sales in the currency auction drop +6%
Shafaq News/ The Central Bank of Iraq (CBI) auctioned $223 million in foreign currency today, Sunday.
Shafaq News Agency correspondent said that CBI's sales of foreign currency in today's auction amounted to $223,863,165, down by 6.3% compared to yesterday's $238,930,627.
Our correspondent explained that 21 banks and 26 exchange companies cashed $45.25 million, while the $178,613,165 went to boost funds abroad in the form of credit and non-cash transactions, with 37 banks meeting those demands.
