CBI sales hit $60.78B in Jan–Sep

Iraq’s Central Bank (CBI) said Tuesday its foreign-currency sales reached $60.781 billion in the first nine months of 2025, up 11.61% from $54.458 billion last year.
The total comprised $58.684 billion in foreign transfers and $2.097 billion in cash sales, according to CBI data. Transfers accounted for 96.55% of the total, with cash at 3.45%.
The year-on-year increase equals $6.323 billion. The nine-month average works out to roughly $6.75 billion per month.
