Basrah crudes rise with a global surge

On Tuesday, Iraq's Basrah crude edged up with a global increase in oil prices.
Basrah Heavy crude rose by 43 cents to $60.77 per barrel, and Basrah Medium crude by 43 cents, reaching $62.52 per barrel.
Brent crude futures climbed by 7 cents, or 0.1%, reaching $63.24 a barrel by 0427 GMT. US West Texas Intermediate crude gained 10 cents, or 0.2%, to $59.42 a barrel.
