Basrah crudes climb with a global surge

On Thursday, Iraq's Basrah crude edged up with a global increase in oil prices.
Basrah Heavy crude rose 1.67% to $61.64 per barrel, and Basrah Medium crude climbed 1.62$, reaching $63.39 per barrel.
Brent crude futures increased 16 cents, or 0.25%, to $63.67 a barrel at 0338 GMT, while US West Texas Intermediate crude futures jumped 17 cents, or 0.29%, to $59.61.
