Shafaq News / The Wall Street Journal reported that the American Chevron Corporation is seeking an agreement to explore oil in Iraq.
The newspaper pointed that Chevron's discussions with Iraq focus on carrying out exploration work in the Nasiriyah field, which is estimated to contain about 4.4 billion barrels of crude oil.
