Shafaq News / The Public Prosecution in Kurdistan demanded on Thursday from the Iraqi security authorities to arrest all suspects in the killing of a Kurdish family in Baghdad, describing the crime as "terrorist."
The Public Prosecution said in a statement today, viewed by Shafaq News Agency, "a horrific crime that an Iraqi Kurdish family was subjected to in the capital, Baghdad, which is a terrorist, immoral and brutal crime and against human values."
The statement added, "They were killed by criminals who committed their heinous act, which calls on us to demand the Public Prosecution Service in Iraq and the Iraqi Supreme Judicial Council, to arrest all responsible parties, and to take all legal measures by speeding up the investigation."
The statement added, "The crime has affected security and human feeling for all," calling on "all authorities in Iraq to protect the lives of innocent citizens."
Yesterday, Tuesday, unidentified gunmen killed the pharmacist, Dr. Shilan Dara Raouf, and her parents in their house in the Mansour district, Baghdad.
According to the confessions, viewed by Shafaq News agency, the perpetrator named Mahdi Hussein Nasser Matar, born in 1984, from Baghdad, Habibiya district, and works in protecting facilities in the Federal Ministry of Interior, specifically in the Russian embassy building.
