Kurdish Unity and Ties with Baghdad

Barzani expressed Erbil's readiness to engage with Baghdad based on the constitution, mutual respect, and a shared commitment to reconstruction and development across Iraq. He also called for Kurdish unity and overcoming political divisions, saying, "All political forces and components in Kurdistan together constitute a great strength and preserve the Region's constitutional entity."

Peshmerga Reform

The president praised the US-led Coalition for its role in defeating terrorism and for its continued support for efforts to reform and unify the Peshmerga forces.

Although he described the progress achieved so far as positive, he urged faster implementation and the removal of obstacles hindering the process, citing the Peshmerga's vital role in protecting the Region's constitutional entity and preserving stability as "an inseparable part of federal Iraq."
