Shafaq News / The Iraqi Commission of Integrity revealed, on Saturday, that the former Minister of Transport, Kazem Finjan Al-Hamami tampered with contracts and tenders during his administration of the ministry from 2014 to 2018.
The commission said in an official letter sent to the Ministry of Transport / Legal Department and was viewed by Shafaq News Agency, that “the decision of the Investigation Court for the cases of the Integrity Commission in Basra Governorate dated (1/7), showed that The minister has tampered with contracts and tenders and supported a number of contractors and suppliers.”
The commission declared that the minister used his political position for personal interests.
It added, "This led to a major loss in the dock contracts," calling for “an administrative investigation to be conducted.”
