Shafaq News / The Iraqi State Organization for Marketing of Oil (SOMO) announced, on Friday, that Iraq reduced the official selling price of Basra Light crude in September to Asia by 0.60 dollars, to become 1.50 dollars per barrel above the average prices offered for Oman/Dubai crude oil compared to the previous month.
The official selling price of Basra Light crude was set in September to the North and South American markets at $ 0.85 a barrel above the Argus index, while Kirkuk crude oil price for the United States fell to $ 1.50 a barrel above Argus.
As for Europe, the official selling price of Basra Light crude in September decreased by two dollars to $ 0.40 a barrel below the Brent price, while the official selling price of Kirkuk crude fell to $ 0.85+ in September.
