Debris from an intercepted projectile struck the Habshan gas facilities, killing an Egyptian worker during evacuation and injuring four others, the Abu Dhabi Media Office said on Friday.
The incident sparked fires that caused significant damage to the site, with assessments still underway.
Earlier today, debris also fell in the Ajban area and injured 11 people —six Nepali nationals and five Indian nationals— while one Nepali national sustained critical injuries.
