Shafaq News / Peshmerga Ministry announced on Sunday that its forces are supported by an air cover by the International coalition is fighting in Karabakh mountains in Makhmur near Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region.
The ministry said in a statement that the international coalition aircraft launched intense air strikes at 7a.m targeting Qarjug mountain range, noting the implementation of airdrops by helicopters in the region.
The statement added that the air campaign against ISIS militants and their hideouts, in addition to clashes with them, is still continuing until the time of the statement.
