Two drones were brought down over Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region, on Friday evening, a local source told Shafaq News.

The drones fell near the 32 Park area in the city.

Initial information indicated no casualties or material damage, and no party has claimed responsibility for the incident so far.

Erbil has faced more than 500 drone attacks since tensions escalated on February 28, Governor Omed Khoshnaw revealed on Thursday, with sites including diplomatic facilities, security positions, oil fields, communication networks, and residential areas affected.
