Shafaq News / The Iraqi Prime Minister, Mustafa Al-Kadhimi, visited on Friday the Bashmakh border crossing with Iran in Al-Sulaymaniyah Governorate.
Al-Kadhimi discussed with the border crossing managers about the work mechanisms used in tax and customs procedures, as well as proposals for developing it, in a way that contributes to increase revenues and achieve greater flow of commercial activity.
This comes as a part of the visit that Al-Kadhimi is paying to the region.
The Iraqi Prime minister's discussions with leaders and officials in the region focused on resolving differences and outstanding issues between Erbil and Baghdad, in addition to the ongoing preparations for the early parliamentary elections.
