Shafaq News/Three children were found after being missed nearly a month ago in Turkey, the Summit Foundation for Iraqi Refugees said on Thursday.
The children, Tabarak Mehmet, Tamara Mehmet and Shahin Mehmet, were found in a shelter center for homeless in Istanbul, the foundation said in a statement.
The father of the children lives in Belgium and pointed out that for a long time the children have been living without a mother or a father in the homeless center, the statement said.
In the meantime, the Office of the Ministry of Immigration and Displacement in Turkey announced the return of (99) Iraqi refugees from Turkish territory to their areas of origin in the provinces of the country as part of the implementation of the program of free voluntary return through Ibrahim Khalil port in Zakho district of Dohuk province.
Director General of the Ministry of Immigration Affairs ,Taleb Asghar Doussa said in a statement today that the ministry has returned a new group of Iraqis in Turkey as part of its free voluntary return program, pointing out that the return trip for Iraqi refugees was from the Turkish provinces of Ankara, Qir Shahir and Samsun , Afyon and Grum).
"The return was organized in cooperation with the office of our ministry in Turkey and the Ministry of Transport at Ibrahim Al-Khalil port to transport the returnees from Turkey by road in buses allocated by the ministry to transport them to their places of origin in the country."
