Shafaq News / The representative of the Kurdistan Regional Government in Baghdad, Faris Issa, revealed, on Monday, the members of Kurdistan Region delegation accompanying the Iraqi Prime Minister, Mustafa Al-Kadhimi on his visit to the United States of America. 

Issa told Shafaq News that the regional delegation accompanying Al-Kadhimi consists of the head of Kurdistan Region Presidency Office, Fawzi Hariri, the Deputy Minister of Planning of Regional Government Zagros Sawili, and the Director of Coordination and Relationships at the Ministry of Peshmerga, Colonel Hazar Ismail.

He added that the representative of Kurdistan Regional Government to US, Bayan Sami Abdul-Rahman, will join the visiting delegation upon its arrival in Washington.

Al-Kadhimi will leave tomorrow, Tuesday, Baghdad, heading a government delegation from Baghdad and Kurdistan Region to Washington DC, on an official visit, his first since he took office last May.

Al-Kadhimi and his accompanying delegation will meet with US administration officials led by President Donald Trump to discuss political, economic and security relations.

During the visit, the two countries will hold a second round of strategic dialogue, which it is hoped will highlight the relations between the two countries on various levels.
