Two suicide attacks on Arbaeen pilgrims thwarted in Baghdad

Shafaq News / The spokesman for the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Major General Yahya Rasool, announced on Friday that a terrorist plan to attack the Arbaaen pilgrims in Baghdad, had been thwarted.

Rasoul said in a statement received by Shafaq News, that "the Counter-Terrorism Service carried out an operation north of the capital Baghdad, and thwarted two suicide attacks".
