Shafaq News / The Security Media Cell announced, on Tuesday, the Green Zone has been bombed.
A cell statement stated that the bombing was carried out with three mortar shells at dawn today, and no losses or damages were without any damages or causalities.
It added, "The mortars were possibly launched from Karrada area (Al-Zawiya).
It’s noteworthy that Green Zone contains headquarters of the Iraqi government and foreign missions including the US embassy.
