Shafaq News / The Iraqi ambassador to Ankara, Hassan Al-Janabi announced on Sunday the closure of the embassy until the 14th of this September due to contact between a COVID-19 patients and most of the embassy's employees.

Al-Janabi said in a statement, "We announce, with great regret, the closure of the Iraqi embassy until Monday, September 14. We confirmed a short while ago that a citizen who was following up on his paperwork for several days inside the building had a physical contact more than one employee and was infected with Covid-19".

He added, "This week, the building will be disinfected, and all the employees will be tested before they get back to work".
