Shafaq News / The coalition of "Iraqis", led by Ammar al-Hakim, revealed on Tuesday the objectives of the visit of the leader of "Quds Force" of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, Ismail Qa'ani, to the Iraqi capital, Baghdad.

The spokesman for the coalition, MP Hussein Arab, told Shafaq News agency, "The visit of Qa'ani is a normal protocol visit, as he arrived within an official delegation to meet official figures and leaders of Iraqi political blocs to discuss the security and economic situation and relations between the two countries".

He added, "Qa'ani's visit has nothing to do with the visit of Iraqi Prime Minister, Mustafa Al-Kadhimi, to the United States of America. During his meetings with the Iraqi leaders, Qa'ani did not raise anything related to this file. Rather, it is a very natural visit and it has no impurities or suspicions".

It is noteworthy that Iraqi local media reported yesterday, Monday, that the commander of the Iranian "Quds Force", Ismail Qa'ani, had arrived in Baghdad to meet with Prime Minister, Mustafa Al-Kadhimi, and other political figures close to Tehran.
