Shafaq News / The Security Media Cell announced on Saturday the nomination of General Ghaleb Atiyah Khalaf as a spokesperson for the Supreme Security Committee for the Elections.
The cabinet indicated the tenth of October as a date for early legislative elections, in line with the demands of the protesters who took to the streets in the central and southern regions of Iraq in 2019 to bring down the previous government of Adil Abdul-Mahdi.
