Captain Nazim Shaker passed away of COVID-19

Shafaq News / sources reported that the former Iraqi football star and coach, Nazim Shaker, passed away on Friday of COVID-19 complications.

The government-owned Iraqi Sports Channel said, "Captain Nazim Shaker passed away this evening, in a hospital in Erbil, of COVID-19 complications".

Several Iraqi athletes mourned Shaker on their social media accounts.
