Shafaq News/ Demonstrators in the oil depot of al-Faw port blocked the road leading to the district today, Sunday.

Shafaq News Agency correspondent said that the demonstrators demanded meeting with the Prime Minister, Mustafa al-Kadhimi, who arrived in Basra earlier today, to convey their regularisation clamor.

Al-Kadhimi, arrived earlier today in Basra, in the far south of Iraq, and laid the foundation stone of the Grand al-Faw Port.

An informed government source told Shafaq News Agency earlier on Thursday that al-Kadhimi will embark on a visit in the southern governorate flanked by a high-ranking security and government delegation.

In a similar context, a source in al-Muthanna told Shafaq News Agency that dozens of Economics, business administration, and accounting graduates staged a picket at the main gate of Samawa oil refinery demanding jobs.
