Shafaq News / The Prime Minister, Mustafa Al-Kadhimi, directed to ban the classification according to sectarian affiliation in state institutions, after widespread controversy following the attachment of the doctrine column to the acceptance documents of students of the Military College.

Al-Kadhimi's media office stated in a statement that the latter had reviewed the detailed lists containing the names of the declared admission to the Military College, and directed to cancel the classification applied to students admitted according to their sectarian affiliation, and to cancel this classification wherever it is mentioned in all state institutions.

The Prime Minister stressed, "state agencies, and security agencies in particular, should stay away from everything that would provoke division and separate people of the same nation".
