Shafaq News/ The Central Bank of Iraq (CBI) auctioned about $257 million in foreign currency today.

Shafaq News Agency correspondent said that CBI's foreign currency sales in today's auction amounted to $256,317,371 by decreasing 34.45%.

Our correspondent explained that 12 banks cashed $95,500,000, while the $169,817,371 went to boost funds abroad in the form of credit and non-cash transactions, with 34 banks and five exchange companies meeting those demands.
