Baghdad Operations announces arresting 130 terrorism suspects

Shafaq News / Baghdad Operations Command announced on Thursday arresting 130 accused persons wanted by the judiciary in accordance with Article (1/4) of terrorism.

A statement issued by the leadership received by "Shafaq News" stated, "Our security forces continue their primary tasks in combating terrorism, in addition to the requirements to protect demonstrators and to enhance security and stability in the sector of responsibility in Baghdad."

The statement added that "during the period from December 9, 2019 to March 10, 2020, those forces were able to arrest (130) defendants wanted by the judiciary in accordance with Article (1/4) of terrorism in Baghdad, and they were referred to the competent courts."
