After ISIS attack ... Military operations launched near Mosul
Shafaq News / Military operations were launched southeast of Mosul with Iraqi air support, a security source said on Saturday.
"The security forces launched military operations on Kashaf area in Al-Kwer sub-district, southeast of Mosul, towards Tal al-Shayir and Sultan Abdullah villages,” The source told Shafaq News.
"The operations were supported by the Iraqi army, which targeted locations believed to be for ISIS,” The source added.
Local and security sources reported that the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) units were exposed overnight to multiple attacks by ISIS in areas south of the city of Tikrit, the local capital of Salahuddin Governorate, killing 11 and wounding two members of the PMF.
