Shafaq News/ The Iraqi Ministry of Health and Environment cracked a list of COVID-19 restrictions ahead of the holy month of Ramadan.
Minister Hasan al-Tamimi said in a press release today, Monday, "the total curfew will be imposed on Fridays and Saturdays this Ramadan," indicating, "if the compliance was poor, Thursday will be added."
"Restaurants can only serve delivery orders only. Patisseries are allowed to open too."
"Under certain preventive measures, humanitarian cases prompted opening some facilities to sustain the sustenance."
"Pharmacies, clinics, and other crucial facilities like bakeries have permits to work."
The instructions aim to curb the soaring COVID-19 case counts ahead of Ramadan amid non-compliance to the preventive measures and social distancing, according to the Ministry.
