Iraqi authorities announce controlling the Avian Flu in Basra

Shafaq News/ The Minister of Agriculture, Muhammad al-Khafaji, announced completely controlling the Avian flu virus in Basra Governorate.

In a statement, the ministry's media office said that Al-Khafaji inspected the farm from which emerged the infections in Basra, and confirmed complete control over the virus.

Al-Khafaji stressed the need to protect the farms through applying biosecurity measures.
