Covid-19: More than 4200 new cases in Iraq today
Shafaq News / Iraq registered, on Wednesday, 4243 new cases of COVID
-19 in the past 24 hours.
The Iraqi Ministry of Health and Environment said in a statement that, 24378 tests were performed today,
The newly 3669 recovery cases were distributed as follows:
Baghdad / Al-Rusafa 401, Baghdad / Al-Karkh 300, Medical City 86, Najaf 229, Al-Sulaymaniyah 00, Erbil 212, Karbala 166, Kirkuk 176, Diyala 36, Wasit 418, Babel 137, Basra 310, Maysan 96, Al-Diwaniyah 116, Dhi Qar 213, Al-Anbar 76, Muthanna 133, Saladin 234 and Nineveh 230 .
The statement indicated that the cases that are diagnosed amounted to 4243 cases, distributed as follows:
Baghdad/ Al-Rusafa 453, Baghdad/ Al-Karkh 642,Medica city 197, Najaf 101, Al-Sulaymaniyah 141, Erbil 193, Duhok 211, Kirkuk 115, Karbala 248, Diyala 132, Wasit 392, Basra 399, Maysan 170, Babel 97, Dhi Qar 271, Al-Diwaniyah 203, Al-Anbar 34, Muthanna 174, Nineveh 152, and Saladin 18.
While 75 fatalities were registered, as follows:
Baghdad/ Al-Rusafa 4, Baghdad/ Al-Karkh 5, Medical city 3, Najaf 1, Al-Sulaymaniyah 8, Erbil 4,Duhok 7, Karbala 3, Kirkuk 7, Diyala 1, Basra 9, Wasit 5, Babel 1, Dhi Qar 5, Nineveh 4, Al-Diwaniyah 4, Duhok 3, Maysan 2, Saladin 1 and Muthanna 1.
Since the beginning of the outbreak, the total number of:
Confirmed cases: 273821.
Recoveries 202859.
Inpatients: 56096, which 540 admitted to ICU.
Fatalities: 7732.
Tests: 1817434
