Iraq’s Fatima Fadhel Al-Azzawi set a personal best while finishing seventh in the second 100-meter hurdles semifinal at the Dakar 2026 Youth Olympic Games on Sunday, the Iraqi Olympic Committee said.
The eight-runner race ended Al-Azzawi’s participation in the event. The committee said competing against athletes from other countries gave her an opportunity to gain international experience.
